Strength and Conditioning Coach
Ben is a recent graduate from the University of Washington. He currently coaches strength and conditioning with an emphasis on sport performance as well as (olympic) weightlifting and runs the weightlifting club here at DF. In high school, he was a varsity football athlete on the offensive line as well as a top student, graduating with a 3.85 GPA. After his senior season, he decided to take action over his health losing around 120 lbs in 9 months using methods he learned on his own. He then added 20 lbs of lean mass over the next few years and continues to work on his athleticism and weightlifting ability. His current goals are to qualify for nationals in weightlifting and build up a community of athletes working towards their own sport / fitness goals.

Bachelor’s of Science in Biology / Physiology at University of Washington -- Class of 2018
Lost and maintained 100lbs weight loss for 4 years now without extreme dieting or surgery
10th highest back squat rep max total in high school’s history - 551lbs
2nd strongest total on HS football team - 1151 lbs (back squat, bench press, power clean)
